DAY (6)
Thursday

Morning in Riquewihr at Hugel, France's oldest and one of the most respected wineries. (Gerwurtztramier, Muscat, Pinot Blanc and Gris, Riesling, Tokay and Pinot Noir).

If weather permits, we will enjoy an exceptional show in the ruins of the château de Kintzheim. More than 80 hawks, eagles, condors, vultures are featured in their natural environment.

If weather permits, picnic in the hills, above the vineyards before the afternoon winery:

Domaine Weinbach-Colette Faller et ses Filles in Kaisersberg. In this emblematic Alsatian winery, Laurence Faller produces wines with incredible fruit purity as well as very noble and intense.  (Gewurztraminer, Muscat , Pinot Gris, Riesling).

or

Domaine Marcel Deiss in Bergheim. The very charismatic Jean Michel Deiss fought during many years to impose high maturity, concentration and lower yields for a maximal expression of the terroir. His Vin de l'Altenberg is a model of wonderful and grand Alsatian wine.

Mid afternoon return to Strasbourg for a second and last night in this city.
