DAY(6)

First, Damien Vache owner of the La Monardiere will present us his Vacqueyras red and white.

Our second one will be at the Domaine Les Goubert for the Cuvee Florence a truly exceptional Gigondas made by Jean-Pierre and Michelle Cartier. They are carrying this domain to the summit of quality with simple and solid principles such as low yield and ripe grapes. We will also have a taste of their Beaume-de-Venise and Sablet-Cote-du-Rhone.

Other jewel of the Cote du Rhone Rasteau will also be on today's program.

On our way back is the Roman city of Orange where we will take a walk with a guide-historian for a visit to the Roman theatre and the Arc-de-Triomphe.

Our hotel will be the Cloitre Saint Louis or the Mercure Pont d'Avignon, both located inside the walled city of Avignon, papal residence from 1305 to 1423; it will be our home for the next two nights.

Dinner at the close by, convivial and excellent "La Fourchette" restaurant.
