| A guide will welcome you at Frankfurt airport, Mainz or Frankfurt railroad stations. Transfer to Mainz pier to embark at 3:00 pm on the MV Koenigstein, your home for the next six nights. |

Built
in 1992 and fully refurbished in 2004, the MV Koenigstein is four star,
carrying 58 passengers in 29 cabins. All double cabins are identical in
size and are appointed with built-in closets, desk, shower and toilet,
television, telephone, 4 channel radio and mini bar. No smoking in cabins,
restaurant or in corridors. Daily
meals consist of breakfast, morning bouillon, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner
and midnight snacks. All meals are single seating in non smoking dining
room, five course dinners. Bar, panorama restaurant, lounge and sun deck
with plenty of decks chairs and umbrellas. English language announcements,
menus and daily programs are provided. Cabin
size 130 square feet. |

| Mainz. In the 1st century BC, Roman soldiers built the fort of Maguntiacum on the site of the present-day city. The English missionary Saint Boniface became the first archbishop in 745. The archbishopric acquired much land and power before being secularized in 1803, while the city was under French control.
